Wow… this is pretty cool. I have the pleasure of knowing Charlie personally and lately he has been touring primarily with his groups, Quartet West and Liberation Music Orchestra. Chances to see him in a trio like this have been rare lately. Those shows are going to be awesome. On Do The Math, there is a great interview that Ethan Iverson does with Charlie. Check the archive. It was posted a few weeks ago. It was pretty interesting for me because I had just finished transcribing some interviews for an upcoming documentary about Charlie. One of the interviews was with Ethan so it was interesting to transcribe Ethan talking about Charlie and then to hear the questions that he crafted for Charlie to talk about himself.
