Here is a good opinion article that answers the question, “How many bales of hay can fit in a Prius?” In my prius, the most I have had was my upright bass and amp, guitar and amp, saxophone and a few backpacks, a few music stands, a saxophone player, a guitar player and myself. (and we got 45 mpg the whole way to the gig.)
